- Wide-ranging research and country-wide training on inclusion and barriers to learning
- Countrywide training for Children’s Services, Schools and Colleges
- Bespoke training in schools and colleges on accessing children and young people with barriers to learning
- Bespoke training in schools and colleges on access for deaf children and young people with barriers to learning
- Membership of SEN and Disability Tribunal Panel
- Membership of Care Standards Tribunal
- Editing and publication of quarterly journals containing current research and good practice
- Summer schools to support deaf children and young people with barriers to learning and their families
- Development of responsive services to children and young people with barriers to learning with life-limiting conditions and their families
- Promotion and inclusion of the children and young people with barriers to learning voice
- Review of rehabilitation Services for blind and partially sighted children and young people with barriers to learning
